Yohimbe and Yohimbine
An ancient tribal remedy for impotence, this African tree
bark has been used by tribal medicine men for generations.
As is usually the case, modern science has found this
tribal wisdom to be accurate. The purified extract of
Yohimbe, is known as Yohimbine increases circulation to
sensitive tissues, and is one of the few prescription
drugs approved by the FDA to treat impotence. Sex enhancer
contains Yohimbe standardized to 7 mg. of naturally occurring
yohimbine per serving. Yohimbine HCl is the drug form
prescribed for impotence.
L-Arginine
There is much written about L-Arginine and sexual stimulation.
L-Arginine and the relationship between L-Arginine and
the nitric oxide cycle was the basis for a nobel prize.
Nitric oxide is known to promote sexual stimulation by
increasing sensitivity of tissues in sensitive areas.
Sex Enhancer contains a potent amount of L-Arginine per
serving.
Passion Flower
Described by the German Commission-E Monographs, Passion
Flower is a prescription item in that text used to induce
relaxation. Often overlooked in sex stimulation formulas,
relaxation of sympathetic nerves is necessary to attain
sexual stimulation. Sex Enhancer contains a proprietary
amount of passion flower to promote normal relaxation
during the sexual cycle.
Epimedium - Horny Goat Weed, and Tribulus Terrestris
Described in Chinese medicine texts, Epimedium or Horny
Goat Weed, has been used to promote sexual stimulation
by increasing libido. Epimedium contains icarrin and other
potent plant sterols which stimulate the production of
androgen sex hormones. Tribulus Terrestris also is used
to increase androgen hormones. These hormones are present
naturally in both males and females and are essential
for the stimulation response.
Muira Puama
Extract
This botanical has been used by South American shamen
as a powerful sexual tonic. Muira Puama is listed in the
Brittish Pharmacopoeia as a sexual tonic. Early explorers
brought the herb back to Europe where it was integrated
into European herbal medicine.
Xanthoparmelia
Scabrosa and Cnidium Monnieri
These Chinese herbals have recently been rediscovered
by modern formulators. Xanthoparmelia scabrosa increases
smooth muscle dilation which increases circulation to
sensitive tissues. Cnidium monnieri promotes the release
of nitric oxide which also increases the sensitivity of
tissues in sensitive areas.
